Tim Kurkjian Embraces Role of Sausage - Gets SMOKED in Miller Park Sausage Race

I guess you can't be anymore of a sausage than to put the costume on and literally get SMOKED out of the gates. This wasn't a contest, Kirk wasn't even facing the right direction when the thing started. I was pulling for Chorizo here, but you don't even get to see who wins because the camera is stuck on Kirk in dead last. Needed Randall Simon to come out and smack all four of the others for Tim to even have a chance. It's only fitting that Tim was the hot dog, because he hot dogged it around the field, right into last place.


P.S. - Apparently the people that run in the race are ballpark employees, and the winner of the race gets the rest of the night off. Pretty cool little event Miller Park, but when you have Polish, Italian, and Chorizo in the race, you will never get as American as the Presidents Race! NATS!
